Since it's your first flash game and a school project I asume that you were getting into actionscript and that part seems fine, I didn't find any bugs :) But the game design, it's a clone of the old copter game, and nothing new. A clone can be a good start if you want to learn actionscript but I hope that your next game has some uniqe or interesting features.
Also this kind of game is a lot more fun and adds 10+ to replayability if it has a highscore, my tip is that you check out the mochi highscore api if you are about to do more highscore driven games. It's easy to implement.
